Introduction

My name’s Jennafer, I’m a native British English speaker, teaching English for all levels and learners. I have a Master’s Degree in Engineering and a CELTA qualification (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) in teaching from Cambridge University. I live in Savona, Liguria. 

I specialise in teaching Business English due to extensive experience working as an engineer and project manager in the Aerospace industry. I can help with grammar, conversation, making presentations, writing reports/e-mails and can customise lessons for the individual based on both business area and language need.

I also have experience teaching older/retired learners speaking English for the first time for travel and fun, I’ve volunteered with organisations helping English teachers in Vietnam and refugees settling in Germany, and have designed courses and materials for group classes of Italians and adults in Taiwan!

I’m happy to work with teenagers/students and help with English homework and exam preparation or summer lessons. 

I'm an experienced proofreader and can help proofread and edit a variety of documents. 

I believe I have a unique set of skills that can help you achieve the maximum with your English, whether you’re a complete beginner or experienced business person looking to perfect your grasp of the language. 

I speak Italian and German and so I know from my own experience how scary it can be to take lessons and how overwhelming language learning can be. Before starting, I will make a full assessment of your needs and provide customised materials to make sure the lessons are also fun and engaging.
